Zara Ideale 「ザラ・イデアーレ Zara Ideāre」[1] was the father of Zora Ideale and a member of Clover Kingdom's Purple Orca squad of the Magic Knights. He was the first peasant to become a Magic Knight.[2]
Appearance
Zara was a tall man with wavy red hair, long sideburns, a small goatee, and pronounced cheekbones.
Personality
Zara was a cheerful man and wished to protect people. He trusted his squad mates only to be betrayed.
Zara enjoyed pulling pranks, a habit he passed on to his son.[3]
Biography
After repeatedly taking the Magic Knights Entrance Exam, Zara finally passed and was the first peasant to become a Magic Knight, joining the Purple Orca squad. One day, Zara presented his son with a doll, encouraging him to talk more.[4]
During a battle, Zara met Julius Novachrono and both were impressed by the other.[5]
Some time after, he was betrayed by his squad mates and was killed while saving commoners.[6]

- Rainbow Stink Bug 「虹色カメムシ Nijiiro Kamemushi」: Zara possessed the smelliest stink bug, which releases seven different colored odors.[3]
