The Spirit Guardians 「精霊守（せいれいのかみ） Seirei no Kami」 are a group of powerful mages from the Heart Kingdom. They are the strongest mages in the entire kingdom.

Overview

Spirit Guardians are powerful Stage Zero-ranked mages who can borrow the power of natural mana. They serve as protectors of the Heart Kingdom and its Princess.

In exchange for the Clover Kingdom's aid in fighting Megicula and the Spade Kingdom, five Spirit Guardians train several Magic Knights for six months to improve their Magic Stage rankings: Floga trains Leopold Vermillion, Potrof trains Charmy Pappitson and Rill Boismortier, and Gadjah trains Luck Voltia.

Vanica's Dark Disciples defeat four Spirit Guardians.

When Vanica Zogratis invades the Heart Kingdom, four of her Dark Disciples easily defeat four Spirit Guardians, which angers Gadjah. While Lolpechka sends some Magic Knights to support the Guardians, Gadjah heads out to support Sarado. He easily defeats Hischer Ongg, but Vanica's curse on her Disciples resurrects them after they are defeated. After kidnapping Lolopechka, Vanica detonates the devil power in her Disciples, which Gadjah and the Magic Knights succeed in partially countering, thus protecting the lives of the Heart Kingdom citizens.

Several days later, the Guardians travel to the Spade Kingdom in order to help stop the Qliphoth Advent Ritual. With the help of some Spade Resistance, they (excluding Gadjah} fended off the hordes of Low and Mid-Ranking Devils from the first layer.
