Biography

After Ryuya Ryudo finds the heavily injured Asta and Liebe on the shore of Hino Country, he takes them to Humito, who heals their injuries. After Asta wakes up, Ryuya brings Asta, along with Ichika Yami, to visit Humito and see Liebe, who took longer to heal due to his unusual anatomy. Humito greets them and, after returning the devil, serves everyone a meal. When Asta loses hope that more training will help, Ichika slaps him, which frightens Humito and Ryuya. She tells him to be thankful for the help they have given a foreigner like him, so Asta thanks Humito and Ryuya for saving him and Liebe and swears to repay them.

The group then steps out to the bamboo forest next to Humito's house, and Ryuya and Ichika instruct and demonstrate to Asta how to perform Zetten. Humito is skeptical that Asta will grasp the technique so quickly. When Asta's attempt initially seems to do nothing, Humito is unsurprised, but the bamboo stalk crumbles due to the Anti Magic, which shocks Humito. As Asta continues practicing, Humito is shocked by Asta's progress. When Asta and Ichikia prepare to fight, Asta enters his black form, and Humito notes the Anti Magic's protection. After Ichika beats up Asta, he refuses to give up, so she slaps him into unconsciousness, which frightens Humito and Ryuya.

Humito heals Asta's injuries, but three more of the Ryuzen Seven arrive and beat up Asta again. While Asta heals again, Komari Imari and Jozou Hanegatsuji begin bickering, and Humito thinks that her attire could spread in Hino, the idea of which Jozou hates. Once Asta is healed, he continues training.

Later that night, when three Paladins infiltrate the country and revive and purify the five-headed dragon in Goshu, Humito accompanies Ryuya to the battleground. After Asta severs Lily Aquaria's Paladin power, she slips into a coma, so Humito places her in his Healing Magic and promises to take care of her until Asta can fully free her from Lucius Zogratis's control.
