Escape 「脱出 Dasshutsu」 is the 9th chapter of Tashiro Yumiya's Black Clover Side-Story: Quartet Knights.
Summary[]
Licht tells the Magic Knights that they will be leaving now since the dungeon is about to collapse, and that Karna Freese will be accompanying them. He then bids them farewell, but says that they should meet again if they're still alive. Licht engulfs his allies within a light, which blinds Asta. Vetto says that since he has his life back, that he will execute them next time. Freese tells them to enjoy their life for the time being because the day of the Clover Kingdom's end will come soon. Yami tells Karna to wait but is too injured to do anything. Licht then releases a blinding flash of light. When the Magic Knights open their eyes, they see that the enemies have disappeared.
As the dungeon continues to collapse down around the Magic Knights, Yuno asks Sylph if they can transport everyone out of the dungeon. Sylph says they can, but she does not know the route, and she's unsure if they would even make it out in time. Asta says they have no other choice - whatever happens, they're going to escape.
Suddenly, an Exploding Buckshot destroys some of the rubble that was about to fall on them. To Asta's joy, it's Magna riding his broom with Mimosa seated behind him. Magna asks if they're okay, and explains that they had sensed evil magic within the dungeon and decided to go check on them. Magna asks what happened, but Asta simply replies that a lot happened. Mimosa says they need to leave immediately, and that she will use Magic Flower Guidepost to find the quickest route out. Asta gets on Magna's broom, and Yuno takes Yami and Klaus on his Heavenly Wind Ark.
The dungeon explodes soon after they get out. Asta compliments Magna's timing but he then passes out which causes Magna to worry. Mimosa notes how worn-out everyone is and wonders what happened inside. Magna admits that this is something that they cannot manage at their current level, and that they need to tell the Wizard King. Yami wonders what happened to Karna, but whatever happens that he will get her back because she's his comrade.
