Bewitching Moon Plot 「妖月の企み Yōgetsu no Takurami」 is the 6th chapter of Tashiro Yumiya's Black Clover Side-Story: Quartet Knights.
Summary[]
Yami Sukehiro, still in disbelief of the situation, questions Karna Freese's revenge on the Clover Kingdom. Asta, trying to support Yami, says that Karna needs to explain so that everyone can understand. Yuno tells Asta that's not what Yami meant. Klaus Lunettes notices that the mages beside Karna are the Magic Knights that they lost contact with, and wonders if they are being controlled.
Karna then orders the Magic Knights under her control to attack the four. Klaus is stunned by their use of magic, but manages to create a Steel Castle's Armored Wall to block their attacks. Klaus wonders who exactly Karna is because it would take a lot of mana to control a single person - let alone to allow the controlled person to still be able to use their magic. The fact that Karna is able to control so many concerns Klaus. Karna then uses Bewitching Moonlight causing four circles to form on the ground, one each for Asta, Yuno, Klaus and Yami. Klaus notices that the spell is weakening their mana. Karna's mages attack again, but Yuno and Asta manage to block and destroy their attacks. Asta tells her that that kind of magic will not work on them, and uses his sword to free Klaus from her spell.
Karna calls Asta's Anti Magic fascinating, but Yami suddenly appears behind her and attacks. However, Karna blocks his sword strike with her staff. She then launches Crescent Cut at Yami, but he manages to defend himself with his sword and Dark Magic. Yami wonders why Karna's mana is so different, along with her magic attribute, and questions if the woman in front of him is even really her.
Yami tries to remind Karna that they are friends, and that she was looking for a place to call home. Yami tells her that she does not belong here, and that they should go back to where the others are. Suddenly, to everyone's shock, Yami is pierced by Light Sword of Judgment. Asta, Yuno and Klaus rush to Yami's side. Karna says that she has nothing to return to, and that she will continue on her journey of revenge, alongside the Eye of the Midnight Sun. Licht, Vetto, and Fana stand atop some pillars. Licht asks if they can join in on the fun.
