The Clover Kingdom 「クローバー王国 Kurōbā Ōkoku」 is the home country of the Magic Emperor and the Order of the Magic Knights. It is currently ruled by Augustus Kira Clover XIII.[1]
Description
The kingdom is a mountainous region. It is bordered by three rival kingdoms: Diamond Kingdom to the north, Spade Kingdom to the west, and Heart Kingdom to the south. A sea lies to the east.[2][3]
The kingdom is divided into three regions: Forsaken, Common, and Noble. Those in the outermost region are the poorest and weakest and are looked down upon by those from the inner regions.[4] Despite peasants being accepted into the Magic Knights, these prejudices follow them,[5][6] even if they have large amounts of mana.[7] It is this imbalance of wealth and power that the Eye of the Midnight Sun seeks to rectify.[8]
The kingdom's currency is the yul 「ユール yūru」.[9][10][11]
Centuries Ago,A race of powerful magic users blessed by the Mana,the Elf Tribe also once lived within the Clover Kingdom and even had their own Village within a hidden patch of the Forsaken Region,Having lived fairly isolated but peaceful coexistence with the Humans of the Kingdom and only rarely came into contact with them,However despite this isolationist life style the Ancient Elves have come to the aid of the local humans during times of crisis such as natural disasters and used their immense magic to save and protect the human population multiple times,earning the local humans worship and envy for their immense magic power.
