The Final Slash 「最後の裂断 Saigo no Retsudan」 is the 357th Page of Yūki Tabata's Black Clover.
Summary[]
Lucius Zogratis catches Yuno Grinberryall's Spirit of Zephyr and explains that absorbing Lucifero also made him physically strong and that Yuno's attacks will not reach him so easily. Lucius also expects that the Never-Never Land will not last long due to its size, and dismisses Yuno's efforts as futile and prolonging the suffering.[1]
Yami Sukehiro crouches over the mortally wounded Jack the Ripper, who thinks back to when he first met Yami and Morgen Faust. Jack had attacked Yami, who managed to rebuff the attack but held back from injuring Jack. Morgen then returned, announcing that the mission was over, and chastised Yami for not getting along with other Magic Knights. Two other Green Mantises were impressed by the Grey Deer duo and their rare magic attributes. Jack decided he wanted to slash up both Dark and Light Magic one day.[2]
Jack struggles to stand back up and refuses Yami's protection. Offering mercy, Morgen prepares another light magic attack. Jack thinks back on all of his slashes he has made in his life and pours everything into one final slash at Morgen. The slash cuts through Morgen's attack, extends across the kingdom (passing beyond the boundary of the Neverland), slices through multiple Guardian Angels, and carves a large ravine into the land itself. Other Magic Knights stare in shock at the scale and extent of the attack. Jack then asks Yami what he thought of his attack, to which Yami replies that the attack was impressive. As he collapses, Jack regrets that he never got to slash up Yami, and his grimoire begins to disintegrate. Morgen reappears and admits that the attack would have killed him if it had hit him. Angry, Yami tells Morgen that he is not the Morgen he knew before, and Morgen replies that many more people are going to die but that they will all be reborn and be happy together.[3]
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Mereoleona Vermillion throws a punch at Moris Libardirt, but his hands disintegrate her forearm with a touch.[4]
