Summary

Albert, Nacht Faust, and Yami Sukehiro watch as the Ultra Giant Bull continues to crumble beneath Lucifero's gravity. From a hilltop, Asta looks on and prepares himself. He promised the other Black Bulls that he and Liebe would free the two captains without injuring them. The others put their trust in the pair, and Finral Roulacase warped Asta and Liebe to the hilltop. Asta holds out the Demon-Slasher Katana and confirms with Liebe that they can cut the monstrous devil. For the sake of rescuing Yami and avenging Richita, Asta and Liebe both refuse to allow Lucifero to fully manifest, and unite once their 30-minute limit ends. As Asta raises the sword above his head, he reflects that because they are both unloved by mana, they are free to make their own choices. Asta then uses Demon-Slasher: Infinite Slash Equinox, a downward slash that produces a massive Anti Magic flying slash, which cuts through Lucifero's monstrous form.

The gravity holding everyone down disappears, and they watch in disbelief as the monster splits in two and the coffins holding Yami and William Vangeance crumble away. The base reaches out to catch the falling captains, while Asta notes that the katana's attacks will not harm those whom he wants to protect. Both Yami and Nacht then congratulate Asta.
