The Tree of Qliphoth 「クリフォトの樹 Kurifoto no Ki」 is the 246th Page of Yūki Tabata's Black Clover.
Summary
As Asta is unconscious, he sees a Devil saying that he will kill someone which Asta wonders what is it.[1] Suddenly Asta wakes up, he notices that he can't move and wonders what is going on. Asta suddenly remembers Gauche and senses that Gauche is alive. Asta also remembers Dante, which he notices that Yami has caused a large wound on Dante.
Yami comments about how the Iai spell within the condensed Mana Zone, never misses. Dante drops his sword and starts to rip his clothes. Dante then starts to laugh and comments about how he didn't think that he would have to use this magic, while using a spell to heal his wound. Yami and Vanessa notices that Dante is using a different magic then he has been using before.[2] Dante says that he can't get enough of the malice emotions that he is feeling, and says that Yami is magnificent. Dante explains how he was bored and tired of everything, and that nothing would satisfied his malice, while remembering everything that he has done to satisfied himself. Dante says that this is were is all starts, and that Yami is going to open up a world that is far more magnificent. Yami tells him to quit it since Dante is creeping him out. Yami says that Dante called Yami that key to link this world to the underworld, but Dante is wrong since Yami doesn't have any kind of power like that. Dante explains that the link is a magic channel called the Tree of Qliphoth and that in order to create it, he need a Dark Magic and World Tree Magic user like Yami and William.[3] Yami becomes concerned since Dante knows about William. Dante then says that hypothetically, if this world is linked to the underworld then Devils will pour out into this world. Dante also says that this world will be a place that will brim over with every sort of malice, with a world crawling with devils. The Black Bulls members are all worried about what Dante is planning, while Dante laughs about his plans. Dante says that he is really looking forward about this and wonders if Yami is also looking forward to this. Yami replies that he really has to wipe Dante out right here.
At the Spade Kingdom castle, two dark disciples are patrolling and one of them comments about how this is boring. One of them comments about how their kingdom has been infiltrated by a Clover Kingdom spy, which the other one says that the rumor is false or the the spy is just suicidal. In Dante's room, the spy is looking at some papers when they are confronted by a Spade Kingdom officer. The officer wonders what the spy is doing in Dante's room but figures that the person is the spy from the Clover Kingdom. The officer prepares to attack, and comments about everything that the spy knows. Suddenly the officer notices that the spy has disappeared and wonder were the spy had gone. The spy then grabs the officer from his shadow and pulls the officer into his own shadow. The spy reappears from a shadow and starts to walk away, which it is shown that the spy is a member of the Black Bulls.[4]
