Dante vs. the Captain of the Black Bulls 「ダンテ
Summary[]
As Grey and Vanessa are glad to see Yami, Dante Zogratis remembers the spell and figures that the man above him is Yami. Yami says that Dante is one of the Spade Devil Host and that he does not care, but that Dante is now dead meat. Dante notices Yami's malice and comments about it. Dante also says that he does not like anybody looking down on him, and uses his Presence of the Demon King spell on Yami and Finral. Finral notices that he his magic is not working, which Yami and Finral are forced to the ground. Yami manages to keep himself stand, along with making sure that Finral does not slam into the ground, which Dante comment Yami for not groveling on the ground. Yami says that he has learned a lot in the past six months and that he will give it a test drive. Yami then combines his Mana Zone and Black Hole, to activate his Black Moon spell. Dante notices that Yami's spell is erasing his magic with a certain area around Yami.[1]
Dante thinks about how this is Dark Magic and uses his magic to lift up a chunk of earth. Dante decides to throw the chunk of earth at Yami, but Yami easily cuts it in half with his Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash. Surprised by the incoming counterattack, Dante uses his space distortion power to evade and move behind Yami. Dante notices that Yami's spell was able to cut space, and comments about how he expects no less from an arcane mage and exactly what they are looking for. Dante uses his Heavy Infighting Gladiator spell to create a sword and decides to attack Yami at close combat. As Dante attacks, Yami dodges which Dante notices how Yami used Mana Zone to jump off of thin air and then counterattack. As Yami and Dante clash, Yami thinks about how he is reacting to Dante movements by using Mana Zone and reading his Ki but notices that he is not at Julius's level. Dante compliments Yami's skills while thinking about how Yami is also using gravity to control the speed of his sword slashes. Yami says that it sounds like Dante know him and if Dante is a stalker. Dante says that that is right since he is after him, which Yami replies that being popular with dudes like Dante does not make him happy at all. Dante says that Yami is the key that links this world to the Underworld, which Yami tells Dante to quit with the crazy talk.[2] Dante also says that it is a shame that Yami Sukehiro would turn out to be such a vulgar shabby fellow, which Yami asks what he just said.
Dante asks how Yami was able to acquire so many people with such unique magic. Dante then says that this is the first time that he is jealous of a human, and thanks him for this new malice.[3] Dante also says that all of arcane mages are now his and that they will now be serving all his needs. As Dante prepares to attack, Grey and Vanessa become worried for Yami. Yami wonders what Dante is talking about since he let them into the Black Bulls because he liked them.[4] Yami then takes a stance and condenses his Mana Zone. Yami tells Dante that he is not giving a single one of them up to a creepy guy like Dante, which Dante attacks Yami from behind but once Dante touches Yami's Mana Zone, Yami uses his Dark Cloaked Iai Slash to cut Dante.
