The woman wonders why this is happening to them since they never wanted anything to do with this war. Asta wonders who is was that put these people through all this and made them feel this way. The woman informs Asta that the commander of this fortress has terrifying, grotesque mana, and possesses a inhuman, reprehensible, and disgusting power.{{Ref|ch = 230|p = 3}} Asta tells them that they he will crush all the officers in the fortress. The woman says that that is impossible since their is an entire army worth of soldier's in the fortress, but Asta tell her that he will be fine. |

| + | Suddenly more soldiers arrive in the room, and say that Asta won't get off so easy for what he has done. Asta pulls out his Demon-Dweller sword and launches multiple slash of Anti-magic. The Anti-magic slashes cut through the officers magic and defeat the officers. Asta decides to head up and breaks through the ceiling, while also managing to defeat more officers. As Asta makes his way through the fortress, he encounters more officers that try to stop him but Asta easily defeats them all. Asta continues to make his way through fortress until he comes across an officer that is surrounded by smoke. The officer comments about how Asta has been making quite a mess, and that Asta seems to have the power of a devil dwelling within him. Asta asks how they could do those terrible things to their own people, which the officer replies that the people are sacrifices for the prosperity of the Spade Kingdom and that their are no greater honor for the low level garbage like them. After listening to this, Asta tells the officer that their people are not garbage. |

The officers uses a Poison Magic spell on Asta, and proclaims that Asta is not match for his magic since he his a higher level mage to begin with.{{Ref|ch = 230|p = 11}} The officer then says that Asta is completely useless since he can't even be used to feed this fortress. Asta manages to pull out his Demon-Destroyer sword, and undoes the effect of the officer's spell. The officer is shocked by this, and wonders how Asta can have the kind of power to erase his poison. The officer then says that Asta is still nothing but the tiniest insignificant scrap, even wtih the Devil's power. Asta then enter his Anti-magic form and creates a large Anti-magic sword. Asta tells the officer that they claim prosperity and glory for their country, even through they sacrifice their own people.
