For My Friends 「仲間のために Nakama no Tame ni」 is the 19th chapter of Tashiro Yumiya's Black Clover Side-Story: Quartet Knights.

Summary

At Quicksand Dungeon, Asta and Noelle follow Nero down a hallway. Noelle wonders why Asta's following orders to leave behind a comrade. She speaks up, but before she can finish her question, Asta tells her it's because he believes in Yami. Asta then says they should head to where Luck is first because he felt some negative Ki a while ago and thinks that's where Luck ended up. Right when Noelle is feeling proud of him, Asta suddenly steps on a trap.

Back at the entrance, Yami is on the ground telling the Sand Monster to let him go. The floor collapses, but Yami stabs his sword into the wall to slow down his fall. At the bottom, he finds himself faced with even more Sand Monsters. Yami raises his sword determined to finish this quickly so he can regroup with comrades.

Elsewhere in the dungeon, Luck and Vetto clash. Luck launches a Thunderclap Crumbling Orb at Vetto, but Vetto counters it. They continue to trade blows, but then Luck asks why Vetto seems different than the last time they met. Luck wonders if it's because Vetto was restored with magic, but he notes that Vetto's spells are weaker than before and that his moves are more monotonous - which Luck finds boring. Vetto takes a swing at Luck, then goes on an enraged rant about humans deserving despair. Luck thinks about how things will be alright because he has changed: he no longer fights for just himself anymore, he fights for his friends. Vetto realizes that Luck's magic is evolving. With his enhanced spell, Luck says that he'll now be fighting for real.
