Reckless and Strategy 「暴走と作戦 Bōsō to Sakusen」 is the 17th chapter of Tashiro Yumiya's Black Clover Side-Story: Quartet Knights.

Summary

While in Quicksand Dungeon, Yami talks about how the dungeon has a lot more traps compared to other dungeons. Yami also wonders out loud how they were captured by a sand monster. Asta panics, Noelle wonders what to do, and Yami curses Luck for leaving them.

Back when the four first arrived, Luck began to excitedly jump around amazed by the dungeon. Yami commented on Luck's happiness, Noelle responded that Luck is a battle enthusiast, and Asta remembered the last time they were in a dungeon with Luck. Noelle said that she now knew what to do, and restrained Luck with her magic. However, Luck apologized and broke himself free, while saying that he cannot be obedient in such a fun place. Although Luck felt sorry, he thought he had a good plan, and that he could count on them. Luck rampaged around the dungeon, which caused the traps to activate. Yami, Noelle, and Asta tried to run but were still captured by the sand monster.

Back in the present, Yami wonders where Luck has gone. Asta suggests that Luck may have gone deeper into the dungeon. As the sand monster attacks, Yami and Asta counter and free themselves. Yami says that they will defeat the monster and chase after Luck.

Elsewhere in the dungeon, Luck runs down a corridor, wondering why there are no Magic Knights there even though they should have arrived earlier. He then senses dark mana deeper in the dungeon. Luck hopes the others are okay, but thinks to himself that he is stronger than he used to be and that he will be able to overtake the enemy.
