Summary
Having defeated No.0 - Michael Caesar, the Black Bulls celebrate. Furious, Rades prepares to attack again but is interrupted by Valtos, who has retrieved the magic stone. He announces that they are leaving, but Rades refuses. Valtos shouts that he will not allow Rades to risk another mission out of selfishness, and the three White Night Eyes retreat. Gauche Adlai is aggravated by the sudden departure, while Grey is relieved as everyone is safe and she is low on mana. Gauche questions if the base can be fixed, and Henry suggests it might.[1]
At the Golden Dawn base, Yami Sukehiro is impatiently waiting on a meeting with William Vangeance. Yami complains to two Magic Knights, pointing out that their vice captain took out his transport so he should not be the one who has to travel for the apology. One the of the Knights apologizes and wishes that Yami trusts William as they do. Yami then reminisces about meeting William for the first, becoming captains of new squads with William, and talking with William in Kiten, and he reluctantly decides to continue waiting.[2]
On top of a wall in the Royal Capital. Julius Novachrono is watching the sunset over the Clover Kingdom. When William approaches him, Julius notes how unususual that is. William removes his mask and thanks the Magic Emperor for everything he has done. However, he informs Julius that there is another whom he treasures and that he cannot choose between them as their paths diverge. William then transforms into Licht, who thanks William and introduces himself. Julius expresses his regret over this revelation.[3]
