To the Royal Capital 「王都へ Ōto e」 is the 11th chapter of Tashiro Yumiya's Black Clover Side-Story: Quartet Knights.

Summary

At the Royal Capital with in the Noble Realm, Asta, Yami, Finral, Yuno, and Klaus meet with the Magic Emperor Julius. Julius apologizes to them since they were to busy and their was not enough time to arrange a transport for them. Asta says that it is fine and that Julius can call on them anytime, which Klaus tells Asta to calm down or his wound would open up. Julius notices Yami's young appearance and after picking Yami up, comments about how it bring back so much memories. Yami tells him to stop it or he will kill him, which Klaus comments about what Yami said is rude and that Julius is the strongest mage here. Asta wonders why Julius is so happy, which Klaus says that it must be nostalgic since after Yami had washed a shore to the Clover Kingdom, Julius had invited Yami to the Magic Knights. Finral comments about how he has been pulled into something dangerous again and just wants to pick up come ladies in the capital. Sylph tells Yuno to finish this quickly so that they can go out on a date, which Yuno replies that they won't.

Marx tells Julius that their is not time for this, which Julius agrees with. Marx informs the others that they did some investigation on the woman named Karna that the group have encountered. Marx continues to say that they were able to find out the Karna's full name is Karna Freese and that her father, Lord Freese, has died 30 years ago. Asta says that he had heard the name Freese before, which Finral says that it the name of the land that they had found young Yami in. Marx informs them that they found out that Lord Freese's daughter had died 14 years ago but no body was found. Klaus says that the person who attacked them was most likely this Karna person, which Yami says that he wants to see it personally if that person is really Karna. Julius informs the group that Lord Freese was attacked by bandits, which Finral replies that they have heard about that and the whole clan was destroyed in the attack. Julius also tells them that their is a chance that that was a lie, which everyone is shocked by this news.
