In answer to the question it asks, no. Not all the Magic Knights have relatives in positions of power where favoritism is granted. For the Magic Knights that are royalty and nobility, the newest members they accept are often members of the nobility or people that will eventually make great names for themselves.

No, the corruption was long before the revelation of the elves. Even Damnatio Kira was aware of the corruption but looked the other way.

That’s why I said it’s debatable.
It's debatable, but if people brought back to life by Lucius don't die when he's defeated, it's possible to accept their new lives as a second chance to do more or do better than they did before they died.
Because he made a deal with his devil for a devil heart, and when he was defeated, he was killed by Yuno.
I had forgotten about this. Fine, I’ll accept that answer.
